Message If you verify you have clean oil, fresh coolant, and no leaks from either system.

If you've tuned for 18psi, 15 is safe, IMO/IME. Many run lower than their dyno boost on track days for response/traction.

Me personally, if it wasn't a true competition with prizes and champagne covered boobies, I'd keep it at 12psi and work on my twisties. That is if it were really hot out and I was paranoid about engine issues.

I ran 14psi on stock turbos/ICs/inj on 93 octane in 80 degree weather in 2003 with no issues. Just a data point.
